1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the GuardianNest mobile application or web portal (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Who May Use GuardianNest
GuardianNest is intended for use by adults (18 years or older) as a family safety tool. The parent or guardian account holder is responsible for all use of the Service within their family workspace, including use by any children or other family members.
You must not use GuardianNest to monitor any person without their knowledge. The Service is designed for transparent family safety — child devices visibly indicate that location sharing is active.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@guardiannest.app if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use GuardianNest only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:
- Use the Service to monitor any individual without their knowledge and consent
- Use the Service to stalk, harass, or harm any person
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service
- Use automated tools to access the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- Share your account credentials with anyone outside your family workspace
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
5. Subscription and Billing
GuardianNest offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely. Prices are listed in USD and may vary by region.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain Pro access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Your continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
6. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Location Data
GuardianNest collects and stores GPS location data for family members who have the app installed and location sharing enabled. This data is:
- Only accessible to members of your family workspace
- Stored securely and encrypted in transit
- Retained for up to 30 days (Pro) or 7 days (Free) before automatic deletion
- Never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. GuardianNest should not be relied upon as the sole safety measure for any person.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GuardianNest and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage.
GuardianNest is a safety aid, not a replacement for emergency services. In any genuine emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and materials in the Service are the property of GuardianNest and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
